Sign up for a preliminary online consultation

Contact us by phone +7(812) 748-08-08 or leave a request. A call center operator will contact you and select a convenient time for a video call with the doctor.

Meet the Doctor

Choose a convenient time and place for the video call so that no one will disturb you and you feel comfortable. If we are talking about body surgery, the doctor may ask you to demonstrate the area of the desired correction. Prepare the necessary photographs and a list of questions to discuss with your doctor. After the consultation, your personal manager will send you a surgery plan and a list of necessary examinations and tests. Then you can choose a preliminary date for an in-person consultation and surgery. A personal manager will accompany you throughout the transformation journey.

Complete preoperative examinations

Some studies are valid for 14 days, and some are valid for 3 days. The main set of tests can be taken in your city. We recommend performing a CT scan of the chest, a PCR test for IgG and IgM antibodies for the COVID-19 coronavirus, a CT scan of the nasal sinuses (in case of facial surgery) and a consultation with a general practitioner in our clinic at least 2 days before the operation. Important: the entire range of examinations must be performed in a Russian medical institution. We will not be able to accept research results in another language.

Plan your trip

You should arrive in St. Petersburg at least 3 days before the scheduled date of the operation. Our clinic is located in the historical center of the city. For convenience and quick travel, we recommend choosing hotels and apartments in the Admiralteysky, Central and Vasileostrovsky districts.

Come to the DEGA clinic

A personal manager will meet you at the clinic and take you to a consultation with a doctor. During your in-person appointment, talk to the surgeon again about your wishes for the result and ask any questions you have. After this, you can rest and prepare for the most important thing - the day of the operation.

How long will you need to stay in St. Petersburg?
The length of stay in the city depends primarily on the type of operation and its complexity. We recommend staying in St. Petersburg until the stitches are removed (7-10 days), in which case the surgeon can control the healing and recovery process.

Answers to frequently asked questions
Can the operation be performed on the day of arrival?
Yes, subject to prior appointment, a consultation with a plastic surgeon and the operation itself can be performed on the day of your arrival. But we recommend setting aside 1-2 days to prepare for the operation in order to relax and tune in to the transformation.
Can I be denied surgery after an in-person consultation?
Rescheduling the date of the operation or completely canceling it is possible if contraindications to the intervention are discovered.
Is it possible to fly on a plane after breast augmentation?
Can! Silicone implants do not explode or get damaged on an airplane. If you have a long flight, we recommend wearing compression stockings to minimize swelling.
Can I get help organizing a transfer from the airport or train station to the hotel and clinic?
Yes, if necessary, a personal manager will help you organize a transfer and guide you through your stay in the city.
Is it possible to get a consultation or examination after surgery in your hometown?
We recommend staying in St. Petersburg until the stitches are removed. This will allow the surgeon to carefully control the rehabilitation process and the formation of the result. The surgeon remains in touch with you throughout your recovery.
Is there a physiotherapist or rehabilitation specialist at the clinic who can provide advice on the recovery period?
All patients of the plastic surgery department are provided with a free consultation with a cosmetologist on rehabilitation after surgery. The specialist will select the optimal program of procedures that will speed up recovery and make it more comfortable.
How far in advance is it recommended to plan the operation?
The schedule of plastic surgeons at the DEGA clinic is quite busy and is scheduled several times in advance. We recommend planning your surgery date three months in advance.
What should I do if I do not have the opportunity to be in St. Petersburg for the entire period of rehabilitation?
During the first month after plastic surgery in St. Petersburg, an in-person personal examination is required. The first examination is extremely important - during it it is checked how scarring is occurring. If necessary, the doctor prescribes special medications and procedures to correct the healing process. Throughout the entire rehabilitation period, it is necessary to maintain contact with your plastic surgeon - send photo and video reports on time and regularly.
When can you fly on an airplane after plastic surgery?
The time when you can fly on an airplane after plastic surgery depends on the type of surgery and the individual characteristics of the patient. It is generally recommended to wait one to two weeks before flying. It is important to allow the body enough time to begin healing and reduce swelling and the risk of complications associated with changes in air pressure during flight.
